Fosamax Use May Cause Devastating Femur Breaks

The study, funded in part by the National Institutes of Health, looked at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)'s adverse event reporting system, and determined that rare and nonhealing femur fractures are not just associated with taking bisphosphonate drugs like Fosamax, but are directly caused by the widely used medications.
