A gang of Pit Bull dogs attacked a mother and her child in Enid, Oklahoma over the weekend of April 10, 2009. The Oklahoma police reported that the dogs had initially attacked the daughter but turned their aggression towards her mother after she shielded her daughter from the attacking Pit Bulls. The mother was hospitalized after receiving several bite wounds during the dog attack.

"You know, obviously, anytime you have dogs that can be aggressive, you need to make sure the fence is secure so the dogs cannot get out", says Captain Dean Grassino
